KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a suspect, affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Motion (MQM), for the alleged killing of a member of Jamaat Ahmedia.
The suspect, in line with the Rangers spokesman, works for the MQM “London Secretariat” and can also be alleged to have dedicated road crimes in Karachi.
The arrest befell after Rangers carried out a raid in Paposh Nagar and Liaquatabad space of the metropolis.
It’s pertinent to say that that is the primary time regulation enforcement businesses have talked about the ‘London Secretariat’.
“One held suspect, Mohammed Abid, belonged to militant wing of Muttahida Qaumi Motion, London Secretariat,” stated the Rangers spokesperson.
“He was concerned in a number of murders and different felony instances together with one homicide of member of Qadiani Jamaat,” he added.
One other held suspect, Mohammed Asif Ismail was concerned in robberies and road crimes.
Arms and ammunition have been seized from their custody.
Afterward, the each suspects have been handed over to the police for additional authorized motion.
Earlier, a 50-yr-previous homeopathic physician, belonging to the Ahmadi group, was shot lifeless in his clinic within the Abul Hasan Isphani space of the metropolis on June 20.
It was the second such assault in the identical neighborhood inside a month, police and a group spokesman stated.
