Sindh authorities is about to ask the federal authorities to arrest Basic (retd) Pervez Musharraf, who was declared an absconder by an anti-terrorism courtroom earlier this week in former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s homicide case.
In accordance with Sindh Minister for Info Nasir Hussain Shah, the provincial authorities will search the previous dictator’s arrest by way of Interpol.
Speaking to journalists in Rohri on Sunday, Shah stated efforts have been made to erase proof from the scene of the crime following the previous prime minister’s homicide.

“The best way the police personnel have been sentenced proves Musharraf was accountable [for the murder],” stated Shah. He added that the provincial authorities condemned the discharge of the militants who have been acquitted by the courtroom.
Hours earlier than Shah’s assertion, Musharraf stated that he would return to Pakistan after recovering from his sickness to face courtroom in Benazir Bhutto’s homicide case.
“There isn’t any proof of my involvement within the [Benazir murder] case aside from [American journalist and lobbyist] Mark Siegel’s testimony,” he stated.
On August 31, an anti-terrorism courtroom (ATC) acquitted 5 accused for need of proof within the Benazir assassination case whereas branding Musharraf a fugitive. The courtroom additionally ordered confiscation of his property.
