ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Trade Fee of Pakistan (SECP) has submitted your complete report of the Hudaibiya Paper Mills to the Joint Investigation Staff (JIT) probing the Panama case, it emerged on Tuesday.
Sources stated the complete report of all the companies owned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s household was submitted to the JIT, which additionally investigated officers of the SECP.
Sources stated that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s confessional assertion relating to cash laundering within the Hudaibiya Paper Mills can also be a part of the report.
Dar had recorded this assertion earlier than the district Justice of the Peace Lahore, Arif Nadeem, throughout Gen(retd) Pervez Musharraf’s presidency.
The finance minister dismissed claims of the confessional assertion following Musharraf’s presidential period.
“I recorded the confessional assertion beneath duress,” Dar had stated.
