KARACHI: Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) has acquired three Airbus A330 plane from SriLankan Airways on a moist lease, sources within the organisation advised DawnNews.

The plane can be used for a ‘Premier Service’, which kicks off from Aug 14 and will probably be operated for flights from Islamabad to London.
Every plane will journey eleven hours per day and can value PIA $88,000 every day, which can add as much as $264,000 for 3 plane.
The acquisition of the plane on moist lease means the SriLankan Airways crew will function the flights whereas the outside is painted in conventional PIA colors with the nationwide service’s emblem.
Sources say PIA, which has been a loss-making entity in current occasions, got here beneath criticism by its Board of Administrators for spending additional on the brand new plane.
