KARACHI: Pakistan gained the 2016 World Staff Junior Squash Championships after beating defending champions Egypt within the remaining by 2-1 on Wednesday.
The event was held from August 7-sixteen in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
“My heartiest congratulations to all the Pakistan workforce, Pakistan Squash Federation and above all to the complete nation for the good victory,” Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated.

He attributed the victory to the imaginative and prescient of President PSF Air Vice Marshal Syed Razi-ul-Hassan Nawab, steerage of squash legends and to the dedication and arduous work of the gamers.
“Inshallah (God prepared) with the prayers of the complete nation, Pakistan squash would as soon as once more obtain its rightful place,” Nawaz stated.

Youssef Ibrahim Abdallah of Egypt then levelled the match 1-1 as he came to visit Pakistan’s Ayaz Ahsan thirteen/eleven, eleven/thirteen, eleven/5, eleven/6.
Within the decider, Abbas Shoukat beat Egypt’s Marwan Tarek Abdelhamid by three-zero, securing the title for Pakistan.
It was Pakistan’s fifth title in World Group Junior Squash Championships.
