ABU DHABI: Pakistan downed world champions West Indies within the third and remaining Twenty20 worldwide by eight wickets in Abu Dhabi, attaining their first-ever clear sweep within the shortest format on Tuesday.
Left-arm spinner Imad Wasim chipped in with three for 21 — 9 wickets within the collection — as West Indies crawled to 103-5 of their 20 overs after Pakistan gained the toss and determined to bowl first.
Marlon Samuels scored forty two not out whereas Kieron Pollard made an unbeaten sixteen.
Pakistan wipes off the goal in 15.1 overs, with Shoaib Malik (forty three not out) and Babar Azam scoring an unbeaten 27.
Pakistan gained the primary two matches by 9 wickets and sixteen runs respectively — each in Dubai.
The 2 groups will now play a 3-match one-day collection beginning in Sharjah on Friday.
