President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday stated that the nation had excessive hopes from the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) with respect to the “Islamisation” of the nation’s legal guidelines.
He made the comment throughout a gathering with Allah Bakhsh Kalyar, one of many newly appointed members of the institution.
The president congratulated Kalyar on his appointment and expressed hope that he would meet the individuals’s expectations as a member of the establishment.
Kalyar, who was appointed earlier this month, thanked the president for entrusting him with the duty and vowed that he would work diligently throughout his three-yr tenure.
