QUETTA: A light earthquake hit Quetta and adjoining areas in Balochistan late Tuesday, Geo Information learnt.
The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded four.2 on the Richter scale, based on the seismological centre.
Tremors have been additionally felt in Nushki and suburban areas.
The epicentre of the quake was situated ninety five kilometres north-west from Quetta, close to the Pak-Afghan border, the seismological centre stated.
The tremors emanated from a depth of eleven kilometres, it added.
Fortuitously, no lack of life and property was reported within the wake of the quake.
