After not being chosen in Pakistan’s squad for the Test collection towards England and Eire, Fawad Alam tweeted that he can be cheering for the staff from house.
“Congrats to all members of the squad. I will probably be cheering for all of you from residence. With workforce efforts and Allah ke hukum se (order of Allah) Pakistan will win InshAllah.”
32-yr-previous Alam who has carried out properly in first-class matches was excluded from the nationwide cricket staff. His exclusion has been questioned by former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram saying this was ‘past comprehension’.
The left-hand batsman performed his final Test match towards New Zealand in 2009.
On Sunday a 16-member squad was introduced for the England and Eire Test collection. The squad consists of 9 batsmen together with Azhar Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Sami Aslam, Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Babar Azam, Saad Ali and Usman Salahuddin.
