Chief of Military Employees (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa visited troops deployed on the border in Rajgal valley on the first day of Eidul Azha, the Inter-Providers Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Saturday.
Director Basic (DG) ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor shared footage and a video on Twitter of the COAS hugging and speaking to the troopers in Rajgal valley, the place the army recently concluded Operation Khyber-4.
Two troopers of the Pakistan Military have been martyred and 15 injured in the course of the operation, which was launched to filter out terrorist hideouts from goal areas.
Addressing the troops, the COAS stated that there isn’t any larger service than defending the nation on an event like Eid.
Gen Bajwa lauded the providers of the armed forces and vowed to make Pakistan “one of the best nation on the planet”. He added that there’s nothing extra necessary than serving the nation.
“Pakistan is […] our life,” he stated. “Nothing [and] nobody is above the nation.”
Earlier, in his message to the nation, the military chief had stated that Eidul Azha was a message of “peace, happiness, fraternity and selfless sacrifice”.
