BEIJING: China has welcomed Pakistan’s transfer permitting the yuan for use for imports, exports and financing transactions for bilateral commerce and funding actions.
China’s Overseas Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang stated on Thursday that bilateral financial cooperation has been deepening since China and Pakistan signed a bilateral foreign money swap settlement in 2011.
“At current, numerous types of commerce and funding cooperation between China and Pakistan have developed in depth,” he added.
Pakistan’s central financial institution had said on Tuesday that private and non-private sector enterprises might use the yuan for bilateral commerce and funding.
“We encourage market gamers in each nations to make use of home foreign money settlement in bilateral commerce and funding and welcome Pakistan’s initiatives,” replied Shuang when requested to touch upon Pakistan’s transfer.
