LAHORE: Cable operators have warned of protest if tax notices weren’t withdrawn by the Punjab Income Authority. Addressing a press convention on the Lahore Press Membership, Captain (retd) Jabbar, Chaudhry Sajjad and Chaudhry Tahir stated the Punjab Income Authority had given a deadline to cable operators to submit 16pc gross sales tax for final three years until September 19. “The imposition of the brand new tax is injustice to individuals. They’re already beneath the burden of taxes. The PRA has determined to gather Rs300 from each shopper from cable operators. Cable operators will be unable to obtain the hefty tax from the general public and the federal government ought to itself acquire the tax from individuals,” they added.
